Palouse Fiber Festival with Shelley Stone
As many of you know, I am fortunate enough to spend a good portion of my time working at The Yarn Underground each week. What many of you don't know is how wildly talented and amazing the shop owner Shelley Stone is! Not only does she own a wonderful and ever evolving LYS in Moscow, Idaho but she also has her own hand dyed, yarn company called Palouse Yarn Company.

Palouse Yarn Company features luxury, hand dyed yarns with unique and beautiful color ways. The popularity of the Cashmere Squeeze is no surprise. It features a beautiful blend of merino, silk and cashmere and at a versatile fingering weight, it knits up beautifully on size 2's up to size 6's. It has amazing drape and will be featured on some secret patterns coming set to be released this summer. You can currently purchase her yarns on the Palouse Yarn Company Facebook page and this summer, you will be able to purchase directly through the website.

Additionally, she has single handedly started a fiber festival called Palouse Fiber Festival that is ready to have its second event this June 17th through the 19th. This event will include an ongoing market over the three days, a early morning fleece sale on Saturday, and classes going from Saturday morning through Sunday evening with incredible teachers such as Sarah Swett, Mary Scott Huff, Beth Smith and more!
